PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin handling device temporarily holding many coins without changing the conventional configuration. SOLUTION: The coin handling device includes: a coin identification unit for identifying the classification of input coins; a plurality of coin distribution units for distributing coins identified by the coin identification unit to each coin destination; and a first coin holder 213 and a second coin holder each equipped with a distribution function and arranged in a coin passage, in this order. The coin handling device further includes a third coin holder in a region upstream of the first coin holder 213 and the second coin holder. The third coin holder is configured of a guide 215a integrally formed with an existing fourth coin distribution unit 204 and a front cover covering each distribution unit and each coin holder.
