PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress thermal deformation and the like of a deaerator body in starting a plant, and to quickly reduce a concentration of dissolved non-condensable gas dissolved in steam condensate by the deaerator. SOLUTION: In this thermal deformation suppressing device 23 of the deaerator 10 in which the deaerator body 11 is composed of a single pressure vessel, an upper half section of the deaerator body 11 is configured as a deaerating chamber 12 to which heating stream is introduced to deaerate the non-condensable gas in the steam condensate, and a lower half section of the deaerator body 11 is configured as a steam condensate storage tank 13 for storing the steam condensate and the like from which the non-condensable gas is deaerated as the storage water, an electric heater 22 heating the lower half section is disposed on a surface of the lower half section of the deaerator body 11.
