PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a refrigerator with improved reliability of pressure-reducing operation by comprising a pressure-reduced storage chamber. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a pressure reducing means, the pressure-reduced storage chamber with its inside decompressed by the pressure reducing means, a pressure-reduced storage chamber temperature detection means detecting temperature of the pressure-reduced storage chamber, and a control means controlling the pressure reducing means. When the detected temperature by the pressure-reduced storage chamber temperature detection means is at predetermined temperature or higher, the control means reduces a pressure-reducing amount by the pressure reducing means compared with the case that the detected temperature is lower than the predetermined temperature.
