PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting the search, finding out and protection of a position of a pet, a child, an aged person, or the like. SOLUTION: The system includes a mobile terminal 2 with a location information detection function, and a server 3 in which the information of an owner of the mobile terminal is registered. The server 3 constitutes a search support system including a member database 31, a receiving mechanism 32 for receiving a stray child signal from a member's terminal connected via the Internet and a transmitting mechanism 32 for transmitting a signal about the owner of the mobile terminal to the member's terminal connected via the Internet.
