摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a coating material for an electrophotographic photoreceptor such that even when the coating material for the electrophotographic photoreceptor which contains particles is stored, the particles do not easily aggregate and an image defect is always not easily generated. SOLUTION: The method of storing the coating material for the electrophotographic photoreceptor that contains at least the particles is characterized in storing the coating material for the electrophotographic photoreceptor in a container 2 and rotating the container 2 using a rotating device which drives and rotates a member 1 coming into contact with an outer surface of the container 2. The container 2 has the outer surface peripherally different in distance from the center of an inscribed circle in a cross section parallel with the rotating direction of the container 2, a track of rotation of the container when the outer surface peripherally different in distance from the center of the inscribed circle in the cross section parallel with the rotating direction of the container 2 passes through a rotary member being different from an estimated track 4 of rotation in the absence of the outer surface peripherally different in distance from the center of the inscribed circle in the cross section parallel with the rotating direction of the container 2.
