PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform high-definition display by improving the moisture resistance to an electrophoresis layer in an electrophoresis display device. SOLUTION: The electrophoresis display device includes a first substrate (10) and a second substrate (20) arranged so as to be faced with each other, the electrophoresis layer (23) disposed between the first and second substrates, a moisture-proof sheet (50) disposed so as to face a surface (20a) of the second substrate different from the surface facing the first substrate, and a sealing member (500) formed so that the electrophoresis layer and the second substrate are sandwiched between the first substrate and the moisture-proof sheet.
