PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held type pile drive device by which a hammering force of a hammering tool can be applied to a pile precisely in the longitudinal direction of the pile. SOLUTION: The pile drive device includes a hand-held type hammering tool 3 provided with a hammer bit 8 performing hammering action, and an attachment 4 fixed to a tip side 8a of the hammer bit 8. The attachment 4 has a pile-fitted part 9 suitable for the pile 2 in such a manner that the longitudinal direction of the pile 2 is aligned with the hammering direction X of the hammer bit 8, and an abutting part 13 abutting on an end of the pile 2 and transmitting the hammering force of the hammer bit 8 to the pile 2.
