PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin foam capable of keeping heat insulation performance over a long period even after processing such as cutting. SOLUTION: The foam comprises at least one resin (a) selected from the group (A) of resins based on styrene, ethylene, propylene, methacrylic acid, carbonate, lactic acid, urethane and phenol, and at least one resin (b) selected from the group (B) of resins based on vinyl alcohol, vinylidene chloride and glycolic acid, and has porosity (X) of 80% or more. In 100 mass% of the total of the resin (a) and the resin (b), a content of the resin (a) is 50-99.95 mass%, and a content of the resin (b) is 0.05-50 mass%. In 100 mass% of the all components of the foam, the total content of the resin (a) and the resin (b) is 50-100 mass%. The resin foam contains pores (C) in each of which 50-100% of the circumference of the pore cross section is covered with the resin (b), and the number percentage of the pores (C) is 10-100%.
