PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for manufacturing a plastic molding in which the low glossiness can be ensured on a surface of the plastic molding, any defective appearance such as a weld line and a flow mark can be eliminated, and dull painting can be omitted. SOLUTION: When a primary plastic molding 8A worked by the injection molding by a press-forming die 2 constituted of a movable side die 22 having a cavity 21 and a fixed side die 23 while a crimp surface 24 is formed on a cavity part 21a of the movable side die 22 is inserted in the cavity 21 and pressurized by the clamping, the movable side die 22 having the cavity part 21a having the crimp surface 24 is subjected to the ultrasonic excitation by an ultrasonic vibration apparatus 3 to re-melt a surface part to which the crimp surface 24 of the primary plastic molding 8A being transferred thereto.
