PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless audio system that reproduces audio content of other source devices even when an alarm is set. SOLUTION: The wireless audio system includes: a main player having transmission mode and receiving mode; a portable player; and a speaker device (sub-woofer) of receiving mode. When a radio alarm is set, the main player manages time while transmitting an audio signal in the transmission mode and enters the receiving mode by transmitting a start command to the portable player when the alarm time comes. The portable player is on standby in the receiving mode, enters the transmission mode when the start command is received, reproduces predetermined audio content and transmits it to the main player and the speaker device.
