PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce components used when a filter 7 is fixed to an O-ring 5 and a gap between a cap 2 and a casing 3 is sealed, in a column 1 filled with an adsorbent which has a cylindrical casing 3 filled with the adsorbent 11, the cap 2 fixed at an end of the casing 3, and furthermore is provided with the filter 7 to prevent the adsorbent 11 from leaking out, and the O-ring 5 to fix the filter 7 and seal the gap between the cap 2 and the casing 3, in the casing 3. SOLUTION: A pressing face 17 provided in a contact portion 4 of the cap 2 presses the O-ring 5 against the filter 7 and also against a sealing face 8. Consequently, the components used when the O-ring 5 is brought into close contact with the sealing face 8 can be eliminated and the number of the components can be reduced.
