When user equipment (UE) connects from an area, in which the user equipment currently exists, to an external network, the user equipment can reselect an optimum gateway. According to a communication method in LIPA/SIPTO architecture, the user equipment selects a gateway apparatus, which is physically or topologically near to a point to which the user equipment is attached, in accordance with a movement of the user equipment.
