The present invention refers to carbinols of formula (I), wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from methyl and ethyl; R3 is selected from C1-C3 alkyl and cyclopropyl; R4 is selected from C3 alkyl and cyclopropyl; R5 is hydrogen or methyl; and the dotted line represents a single bond or no bond. The invention further refers to their preparation, and to perfume compositions and fragrance applications comprising them.
