<p>A method and a device for mobility processing are disclosed, and the method includes: a former network element of wireless side judges whether a route is reachable between a destination network element of wireless side and a local Internet Protocol (IP) access function realizing unit according to the information of a destination network element of wireless side; the former network element of wireless side reports the routability to a mobility management unit of a core network according to the judgment result, and then the mobility management unit of the core network performs an updating or a releasing operation on the local IP accessing links according to the routability. The local IP accessing mobility is realized.</p>
