<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, capable of effectively correcting unevenness in an ulltra-low gradation-side region, while suppressing increase in power consumption and circuit area by performing unevenness correction in a linear space and also setting one unevenness correction surface in the linear space so as to correct the unevenness in the ulltra-low gradation-side area. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a display unit in which a pixel including a light emitting element which emits light according to the amount of current and a pixel circuit which controls the current to be applied to the light emitting element according to video signal, a scanning line for supplying a selection signal to the pixel with a predetermined scanning period to select the pixel be caused to emit light are arranged in matrix; a first unevenness correction unit which corrects emission unevenness on the video signal having linear characteristics; and a second unevenness correction unit which corrects emission unevenness of a predetermined area or less with respect to the video signal having gamma characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
