<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner configured to react with materials to be treated such as various germs and organic matters, generating an active substance which is stable with a long life and emitted from photocatalyst to a gas phase, the active substance being made to react with various germs and organic matters at a distant place. <P>SOLUTION: In this air cleaner, a body 3 having a suction opening 1 and an outlet 2 is provided with an active substance generating material 5 including at least oxo acid and photocatalyst and adapted to emit active substance by irradiating light, a dust collecting filter 6 which is a means for purifying the air, a deodorizing filter 7, and a fan 8 for blowing off at least some of the air sucked from the suction opening 1 from the outlet 2, thereby producing the effect of causing reaction with various germs, mold, virus, allergen, odor component and organic matter at a distance place to be decomposed or lower the activity thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
