PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage intercepting machine capable of reducing a load at the stop of an intercepting bar not by the revolution control of a motor but by a simple method. SOLUTION: The passage intercepting machine 1 includes an intercepting bar drive unit 3, and the intercepting bar (3b) which is connected to a drive shaft 3a of the intercepting bar drive unit 3 and elongated in a direction crossing the axial direction of the drive shaft 3a. The intercepting bar drive unit 3 is bolt-fixed to a mounting surface 1b-a which has a surface crossing the direction crossing the axial direction of the drive shaft 3a in a mounting frame 1b. A bolt 1c for bolt-fixing the intercepting bar drive unit 3 penetrates the mounting surface 1b-a through a bolt hole with a diameter larger than the outside diameter of the bolt 1c, and is fastened to both sides of the mounting surface 1b-a via an elastic washer 1f.
