摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain and evaluate the effect of the ultra-low frequency sound propagated through a structure such as a foundation and a concrete structure. SOLUTION: The sound pressure intensity of ultra-low frequency sound pulses generated or propagated in a structure being observed is continuously measured at predetermined measuring intervals. The relationship between the sound pressure intensity of the ultra-low frequency sound obtained as the measurement result and a dominant frequency is determined to evaluate a situation of the structure being observed on the basis of the numerical value evaluation result, representing the result on a display or another device. As an evaluation method, the correlation between the ultra-low frequency (Hz)<SP>-1</SP>and peak ultra-low frequency sound pressure intensity or peak low frequency sound pressure intensity (&times;10<SP>-8</SP>W/m<SP>2</SP>)<SP>1/2</SP>for multiple data obtained by the structure being observed can be illustrated to perform the state evaluation.
