<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color separation synthesizing system capable of preferably maintaining image quality of a projected image while alleviating formation of interference fringes on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: The color separation synthesizing system includes a first polarizing beam splitter for guiding first color light to a first display element and sensing first reflected light from the first display element, a second polarizing beam splitter for guiding second color light to a second display element, sensing second reflected light from the second display element, guiding third color light to a third display element and sensing third reflected light from the third display element, an optical path synthesizing element for synthesizing the first color light emitted from the first polarizing beam splitter, and the second and third colored lights emitted from the second polarizing beam splitter, a first transparent member disposed on an optical path between the first polarizing beam splitter and the optical path synthesizing element, and a second transparent member disposed on the optical path between the second polarizing beam splitter and the optical path synthesizing element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
