<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the precise autofocus of a projector by a camera of a low specification. <P>SOLUTION: A projecting part 10 projects an image on a projection surface 200 via a focusing lens 13. A lens drive section 20 moves the position of the focusing lens 13. An imaging section 30 picks up the image projected on a projection surface 200. A control section 40 determines a position of the focusing lens 13 based on the definition of a plurality of images picked up by the imaging section 30 at a plurality of lens positions, respectively. The control section 40 makes the projection section 10 project the plurality of images divided in time or spatially in each lens position, and composes the plurality of images picked up by the imaging section 30, thereby generating an image of a resolution higher than that of an image capable of being picked up with the number of pixels of a solid imaging element 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
