<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector having a reinforcing member which is attached from the side of the connecting surface (mounting side) between a connector and a board, the reinforcing member being attached to the connector tightly, and the reinforcing member itself has a strong strength as well. <P>SOLUTION: An electrical connector includes a first connector and a second connector for electrically connecting a first board connected with the first connector and a second board connected with the second connector, by fitting the first connector and the second connector in a predetermined direction. The first connector includes a first reinforcing member embedded in the first connector to reinforce the first connector. The first reinforcing member includes: a body; a joining portion extended in the predetermined direction from a part of the body to be joined to the board; and an engaging portion to be engaged with the first connector, the engaging portion being defined by a cut formed at the body to extend in the predetermined direction from an opposite side of the body where the joining portion is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
