PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact fluid pressure actuator efficiently generating fluid pressure in a first fluid pressure cylinder. SOLUTION: The fluid pressure from the first fluid pressure cylinder 37 is given to a second fluid cylinder 23 and driving force is output from the second fluid pressure cylinder. The first fluid pressure cylinder 37 includes a first cylinder body 371, a first hollow piston 372 and a seal member 47 closing the first cylinder body while contacting with the first piston moving forward and back. A ball screw 38 is inserted along the first piston. The ball screw is rotated by a rotation driving means 40 and the first piston is moved forward and back via a nut 39 fixed to the first piston. In the second fluid pressure cylinder, working fluid from the first fluid pressure cylinder is supplied to a second cylinder body 231 and forward and back movement of a piston rod 233 by the reciprocation of a second piston is output as the driving force.
