PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fueling efficiency of refrigerating machine oil to a piston even if the operational frequency of a compressor is a low operational frequency below a commercial power supply frequency. SOLUTION: An oil receiving surface 27 formed into a horizontal surface (or an oil groove 27a formed into a cylindrical surface) is formed on an upper surface from the skirt-side end surface 17b of the piston 17 of a compression mechanism section to a second oil groove 24b. The oil receiving surface 27 is parallel to a horizontal center surface HS passing through the center shaft O of the piston 17, and is symmetrical to a vertical center surface VS passing through the center shaft O. The refrigerating machine oil 2a discharged from an eccentric portion 8 (Fig.1a) eccentrically rotated is poured into the oil receiving surface 27, repelled by the oil receiving surface 27, led to flow toward a stepped portion 28 as the end of the oil receiving surface 27 on a sliding portion 22 side, blocked by the stepped portion 28, and led to flow into the second oil groove 24b (on the skirt-side end surface 17b side) formed in the peripheral surface 18 of the piston 17.
