PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inducing a pancreas hormone production and a pharmaceutical composition. SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition contains a compound increasing PDX expression or PDX activity in an amount enough to inducing the pancreas hormone production in a subject. The method for treating pancreas-related disorder in the subject has a process consisting of administrating a therapeutically effective amount of compound, which increases PDX expression or PDX activity in the subject, to the subject, and therefore treating pancreas-related disorder in the subject.
