The controller has trigger circuits actuating permanent magnet rotary motors, and an accumulator (150) supplying the trigger circuits with direct current. An output voltage converter unit changes output voltage of the accumulator. A voltage difference reduction control unit implements supply voltage variation when the motors are driven by the trigger circuits to vary voltage of a direct current voltage supply for actuating the motors to reduce difference between phase voltage and reference voltage. The reference voltage is determined based on the output voltage of the accumulator. An independent claim is also included for a motor control method for controlling operation of a rotary current motor by a motor controller.
