<p>A method, equipment and system for obtaining the multimedia information of a contact person in an address book are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, related to the technical domain of communications; wherein, said method for obtaining the multimedia information of a contact in an address book includes: obtaining the information of a contact person in a mobile terminal address book; sending a request message, which includes the calling number of the target contact person in said information, for obtaining the multimedia information of the target contact person to the server according to the obtained information of the contact person; receiving the multimedia information corresponding to said calling number and sent by said server after said server obtains the multimedia information corresponding to said calling number according to said request message. By the embodiments of the present invention, the user can obtain the multimedia information, such as color ring, video, of the contact person in the address book by a terminal after the address book is imported into the terminal which has the function of surfing the Internet. The modes by which the user obtains the multimedia information are increased. It is convenient for the user to experience the multimedia information related to the contact person.</p> |
