The system (1) has a pressure reducing valve (8) implemented as slide valve, 3/2-way valve or a 3/3-way valve with a positive cover and comprising a tank connection, a system pressure connection and an operating pressure line (12). The operating pressure line is connected with the system pressure connection or the tank connection by the pressure reducing valve. An auxiliary valve (16) is connectable with the operating pressure line between a consumer and the pressure reducing valve to hold a valve slide (4) of the pressure reducing valve at a control edge in critical conditions.
