The passive inhaler (5) has a housing which has two housing parts that are connected in predetermined positions, opposite to each other, from an inactive condition into an active condition. The former housing part is a longitudinal, flat lower part (6), in which a unit is formed for receiving the blister cups (3). The latter housing part is a longitudinal, flat upper part (7).
