PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism of a drum type shot blast device which prevents a door from opening toward an operator side during an insertion of a product to be worked from the door and a shot blast operation and when the product to be worked is taken out from a drum, and can improve a workability. SOLUTION: In the shot blast device, a chain stopper mechanism is provided which includes a hook chain formed in a chain and having one side fixed to an outer peripheral part of the drum and the other side formed as a hook and a hook engaging ring provided on a door surface and a fixing bracket for engaging the hook of the hook chain.
