PURPOSE: A wire-cut electric discharge machine for controlling liquid temperature constantly by controlling the supply amount of processing liquid into a processing tank is provided to automatically maintain the inner temperature of a processing tank in the shortest time. CONSTITUTION: A wire-cut electric discharge machine comprises a temperature sensor(10), a temperature difference calculation unit, and a processing liquid flux control unit. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of the processing liquid inside the processing tank(2). The temperature difference calculation unit calculates the difference between the temperature of the processing liquid detected by the temperature sensor and preset standard temperature. The processing liquid flux control unit controls a pump for processing liquid storage based on calculated temperature difference and adjusts the supply amount of the processing liquid.
