PURPOSE: A system for evaluating the suitability of a compatible PSAM (Purchase Secure Application Module) and a method thereof are provided to overcome technical difference by integrating the test authenticating systems of traffic card companies. CONSTITUTION: A function test unit(320) judges the operating state or error processing state in the payment transaction function of an SAM(Secure Application Module), and a physical test unit(310) tests the standard, electric function and security of the payment SAM. A control unit(350) compares the test and judgment results with standard data to output comparison results. A security test unit(330) judges the protocol security suitability for the payment transaction function of the payment SAM.
