<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery having a high capacity, high safety, and good charging/discharging cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode mixture layer containing lithium-containing transition metal oxide. The negative electrode includes: a negative electrode material having constituent elements including silicon and oxygen at the atom ratio x of the oxygen to the silicon being 0.5≤x≤1.5; a negative electrode mixture layer including at least one type of binder selected from a group consisting of polyimide, polyamideimide and polyamide; and a porous layer formed on the negative electrode mixture layer and containing epoxy resin-curing agent particulates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
