<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer removable of a surplus length portion of recording paper while securing high safety. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 ejecting the recording paper S from a paper ejection port 8 includes a manual cutter 41 provided along a width direction of the recording paper S at the paper ejection port 8, and a cutter cover 42 covering at least a cutting edge 41a of the manual cutter 41. When the recording paper S ejected from the paper ejection port 8 is displaced to the manual cutter 41 side, the manual cover 42 is displaced, with the displacement of the recording paper S, from a covering position where the manual cover 42 covers the cutting edge 41a of the manual cutter 41 to a retreat position where the recording paper S comes into contact with the cutting edge 41a of the manual cutter 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
