<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method capable of taking setting intended by a user over to a printer driver after being switched, without executing newly an operation to bring the same printing setting by the user, between the different printer drivers. <P>SOLUTION: This control method includes a set value determining process for determining whether a default set value in a printer before switched is matched with a set value set already when switching the printer or not, in a set item determining process, in set items before switched and after switched, in accompaniment to the switching of the printer between the plurality of printers corresponding to the plurality of printer drivers, under control of an operation system having a function of sharing the set values set using the plurality of printer drivers, between the plurality of printer drivers, and a taking-over process for taking the set value set already when switching the printer over, as to the set item with the set value determined to be not matched in the set value determining process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
