<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounted connector and a mounting method thereof capable of carrying out superb soldering by dropping off dirt, an oxide film or the like, without jeopardizing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounted connector 100 soldering a contact part of a terminal 19 led out from a connector housing 11 to a pad 29 provided on a mounting face of a substrate 17 is made provided with a pair of fixing pins 13 for temporarily fixing the connector housing 11 in free rotation to the substrate 17, and a foreign-object removal part 47 temporarily fixed to one of the fixing pins 13, fitted to a substrate face 17a between the terminal 19 led out from the connector housing 11 rotating from a regular position and the pad 29, and enabled to come in contact with a contact face of the contact part by rotation of the connector housing 11 to the regular position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
