PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more appropriately detect a driving status of a driver. SOLUTION: A motor vehicle 1A includes a driving status detection device 1 for a vehicle, acquires distribution of a vehicle traveling status (inter-vehicle time THW), calculates a plurality of statistical indicators of the acquired distribution, and determines whether the distribution of the vehicle traveling status has distortion based on these combinations. The motor vehicle 1A determines that a driver makes a rush drive when the distortion is detected in the distribution of the vehicle traveling status (the in-vehicle time THW), and makes announcement for the rush drive with sound and display.
