PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal having a conductive spring member that reliably forms a contact with a conductive plate member. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal includes: a whip antenna; a cabinet in which an insertion hole is formed through which the whip antenna is inserted; a printed circuit board provided inside the cabinet; a conductive plate member in contact with the whip antenna in the cabinet; and a conductive spring member disposed between the printed circuit board and the conductive plate member. The whip antenna has a sliding part that is slidable in the cabinet, and a holding part for slidably holding the sliding part. The conductive plate member is pressed against the whip antenna on a second surface which is positioned, in the cabinet, between the whip antenna and the conductive spring member and positioned opposite to the first surface, to which the conductive spring member is abutted, in a thickness direction of the cabinet.
