PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handleability by adjusting the volume of sound outputted from a headphone and a speaker even in the state where the headphone is connected, in a TV receiver. SOLUTION: A headphone can be connected to the TV receiver, and the TV receiver is equipped with: a speaker; and a control part. When the headphone is connected, the control part displays a sound volume adjusting image V2, adjusts the sound volume outputted from the speaker corresponding to the operation of a sound volume adjusting button and updates a second sound volume adjusting image V2b. Then, when the sound volume outputted from the speaker is adjusted to zero, the adjusting object of the sound volume is automatically switched from the speaker to the headphone. Then, the control part adjusts the sound volume of the sound outputted from the headphone corresponding to the operation of the sound volume adjusting button, and updates a first sound volume adjusting image V2a. Then, when the sound volume outputted from the headphone is adjusted to zero, the adjusting object of the sound volume is automatically switched from the headphone to the speaker.
