PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator performing cooling operation improved in energy-saving performance as well as suppressing temperature rise of a storage chamber. SOLUTION: First cooling operation is carried out for controlling a refrigerating chamber cold air control means and a freezing chamber cold air control means so as to blow cold air to a refrigerating temperature zone chamber by driving a blower when a compressor stops. Second cooling operation is carried out for blowing the cold air to the refrigerating temperature zone chamber by driving the compressor during the first cooling operation. Third cooling operation is carried out for controlling the refrigerating chamber cold air control means and the freezing chamber cold air control means so that the cold air is supplied to the refrigerating temperature zone chamber and the freezing temperature zone chamber in the state of driving the compressor and the blower. Fourth cooling operation is carried out for controlling the refrigerating chamber cold air control means and the freezing chamber cold air control means so that the cold air is supplied to the freezing temperature zone chamber in the state of driving the compressor and the blower.
