PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device stable with no aligning and binding failures while saving a space, and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device includes an abutting member for aligning sheets, and a binding means for performing end binding or inside binding. The sheet processing device gives predetermined processing to a bunch of sheets after using the abutting member for aligning the bunch of sheets. A folding means is arranged upstream of the abutting member near a discharge roller which discharges the sheets to a staple tray, for performing sheet folding processing.
