Disclosed is an internal combustion engine control device that calculates control parameters for the engine using multiple neural networks which output prescribed operational parameters for the engine. The multiple neural networks each correspond to a specific operational state of the engine. The control device is equipped with a coordinator that calculates a prescribed operational parameter according to the output of the multiple neural networks, and control parameters are calculated according to the output of said coordinator. The coordinator calculates a weighting coefficient for the output of the multiple neural networks, applies the calculated weighting coefficient to the multiple neural networks, and calculates one prescribed operational parameter.
