<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a charge/discharge cycle characteristics in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using silicon and silicon oxide as a negative electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: A positive electrode 6 formed in a shape of a sheet and a negative electrode 3 forming a negative electrode active material layer 1 including silicon and silicon oxide are arranged to oppose via a separator 7, and arranged so that a peripheral part of the negative electrode active material layer 1 is inside the peripheral part of a positive electrode active material layer 4, thereby satisfying a relation of 1.00<c when c is defined as b/(a)=c, where (a) is a charge capacity of the positive electrode and b is a charge capacity of the negative electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
