<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic washing method for strongly washing and sterilizing fat and stain stuck to the surface of an article using ultrasonic wave, and to reduce facility cost for continuously washing and sterilizing and running cost thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower ultrasonic vibrators 4 is disposed under the water level of a washing tank 2 storing washing water W in which oxygen and nitrogen are dissolved at high concentration in such a manner that the vibration surfaces face each other, and part of the washing water W in which oxygen and nitrogen dissolved at high concentration is made to flow into a sandwiched region 7 of the vibration surfaces of the ultrasonic vibrators 4, at a flow speed of about 50 cm/min by suppressing the water volume and flow speed by baffle plates 8. A side face of the washing tank 2 is opened, a conveyer 3 is disposed for passing a washing object A through the opening. The washing water is discharged from the opening, and the washing water fed to the washing tank 2 is jetted to the inside of the opening to form water curtain Wa to suppress a large amount of water discharge.
