<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fixation from occurring in the rotary shaft of an electric motor for start. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 1, in which an engine 10 and an electric motor 12 for traveling cooperatively travel and the electric motor 12 for traveling can start the engine 10, includes: an electric motor 15 for start, separately from an electric motor 12 for traveling, the engine 10 under such situations in a prescribed temperature or less that it becomes difficult for the electric motor 12 for traveling to start the engine 10; and engines ECU (Electric Control Unit) 20 and HV-ECU21, and a relay contact point 24 using the electric motor 15 for start to start the engine 10 when the electric motor 15 for start is not available in the prescribed period or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
