PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which facilitates the visual confirmation of a blade, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: A CPU 34c extracts a template image from blade images which constitute a moving image obtained by imaging blades periodically arrayed in a jet engine and compares the blade images with the template image. The CPU 34c selects partial blade images from the blade images based on the result of image comparison, and measures surface shapes of the blades on the basis of the selected blade images.
