PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impervious sheet structure which uses a method for connecting impervious sheets with fasteners, such as bolts, and exhibits sufficient water impervious performance even if the arrangement interval of the fasteners is widened. SOLUTION: A water stop packing 10 is arranged between the end faces 9a, 9b of the impervious sheets 1a, 1b. The water stop packing 10 consists of a strip flat plate portion 12 and projecting portions 11a, 11b continuously connected to both edges of the flat plate portion 12, and the projecting portions 11 are more projected than planes including both faces of the flat plate portion 12. An upper presser plate 2 and a lower presser plate 3 are arranged so as to hold the impervious sheets 1a, 1b from above and below, and are press and held in the direction approaching each other by a bolt 4a and a nut 5a. At this time, pressing forces by the upper presser plate 2 and the lower presser plate 3 concentrates on the projecting portions 11 of the water stop packing 10 through the end faces 9a, 9b, so that, even if the arrangement interval of the bolts 4 is widened, contact stresses are not reduced and a sufficient water impervious effect can be maintained.
