PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a user from waiting for equal to or longer than the drying waiting time by completing the capping operation within the set drying waiting time. SOLUTION: An image forming device is capable of setting the drying waiting time, and executing the first capping operation and the second capping operation for completing the operation in a shorter time than the first capping operation. If the drying waiting time is equal to or longer than the first capping operation time, the first capping operation is executed.
