PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of shading correction in a mode for recording or displaying an image corresponding to a partial region. SOLUTION: The image signal processor applies predetermined correction processing to an image signal output from a pixel array including: an effective region wherein a plurality of effective pixels are arrayed; a first light shielding region wherein a plurality of first light shielding pixels are arrayed at the first side of the effective region; and a second light shielding region wherein a plurality of second light shielding pixels are arrayed at an opposite second side. The image signal processing device includes: a first generation means for generating first reference data from the first light shielding pixels; a second generation means for generating second reference data from the second light shielding pixels; a third generation means for generating correction data using the first reference data and the second reference data; a correction means for correcting the image signal using the correction data; and a control means for performing control to weighted-average the first reference data and the second reference data to be used when the third generation means generates the correction data in accordance with positions of partial regions in a mode for recording or displaying images corresponding to partial regions 31, 32, 33.
