PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method allowing a core strength not to be reduced by a fluid path formed in a core when casting a hollow casting such as a cylinder block at an internal combustion engine using the core, and promoting the cooling of the core while preventing the collapse at the core. SOLUTION: A pipe body 10, 11 made of a heat resistant material is embedded inside the core 7 to allow at least a part of the pipe body to communicate with the atmosphere by passing through an outer casting mold and the core.
