PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component including a surface mounting type terminal fixed on a synthetic resin case by insert-molding, and having good moldability including a periphery of a lead-out part of the terminal, and preventing penetration of flux or the like. SOLUTION: A first recess 41 formed in a width direction on a lower surface side of a buried position in the vicinity of an exposure position of a first terminal 4 is arranged in an intermediate part between a center fixed contact 2 fixed on the case 21 and the first terminal 4 to secure a predetermined thickness of the synthetic resin covering the position from beneath.
